Larisa Kingston Mann, also known as DJ Ripley, in her recently published book Rude Citizenship: Jamaican Popular Music, Copyright and the Reverberations of Colonial Power explores music production techniques such as dub that subvert Western notions of original and copy in favor of versioning. As a DJ, journalist, musician (Whirlpool Productions) and author (plus minus eight), Hans Nieswandt has been a longtime observer and co-creator of the electronic music scene. He currently lives and works in the capital of K-pop, Seoul.
